Special Use Airspace

Special use airspace or special area of operation is the designation for airspace in which certain activities must be confined, or where limitations may be imposed on aircraft operations that are not part of those activities. Certain special use airspace areas can create limitations on the mixed use of airspace.

Anticipate restrictions to POL use during the months of May, October, and November for which the USFWS pre-empts military use with public hunting.

For additional airspace/range times NOT previously scheduled coordination must be accomplished at least 2 hours and 30 minutes prior to the anticipated time of use.
