
The Adjutant General’s Office - Military Department of Indiana oversees the Ceremonial Unit, Indiana Guard Reserve, Armories and Readiness Centers, State Armory Board, and the state’s relationship with Camp Atterbury, Muscatatuck Training Center and the Ivy Tech Cyber Academy at Muscatatuck. AGO Administration provides essential administrative functions to the organization related to legislative and legal affairs; contracting, purchasing and accounting; facilities management and human resources.
Alumni Association
If you honorably served in the Indiana Army National Guard or Indiana Air National Guard, you may become a member of the INNG Alumni Association and receive exclusive updates, invitations and volunteer opportunities.
Armory Board
The State Armory Board provides, manages and cares for armories for the use of the Military Forces of the State of Indiana. SAB holds quarterly public meetings and makes a list of bid postings publicly available.
Armories, Facilities and Properties
The Indiana National Guard's 64 armories and other properties across the state are available for public rental, at a fair-market rate, for a variety of activities and events.
Ceremonial Unit
Current and prior members of the Indiana National Guard who are in good standing may volunteer to serve in the CU to represent the Guard at funeral services and public events near their current unit or station.
Indiana Guard Reserve
The IGR is an all-volunteer military force that reports directly to the State Adjutant General and is under the command of the Governor of Indiana through the 81st Troop Command. IGR meets for one drill day per month, and can be activated by the Governor during emergencies.
Muscatatuck Student Housing
Muscatatuck Training Center student housing supports the Cyber Academy program partnership between the Adjutant General's Office and Ivy Tech Community College.
Starbase
Starbase focuses on motivating elementary students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) educational paths.
