Indiana National Guard Logistics Readiness Officer Training (LROT) is an advanced professional development program tailored specifically for traditional (M-Day/drill status) Logistics Readiness Officers serving at all echelons of command. LROT builds a highly competent, adaptable cadre of logistics leaders capable of commanding personnel, securing vital resources, and ensuring the Indiana National Guard remains responsive and sustained for any domestic emergency or overseas combat deployment.
Course Benefits
LROT addresses the unique challenges faced by part-time, citizen-soldier leaders who must maintain the same high level of operational readiness as their full-time counterparts. The program equips officers with the decision-making frameworks and analytical tools necessary to manage complex supply networks, coordinate large-scale movements, and execute state and federal mission-essential tasks. By bringing together officers from different brigades and command structures, LROT fosters collaborative problem-solving, shares lessons learned from recent operations and clarifies lines of communication between unit-level execution and Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ-IN) staff.
