The Indiana National Guard Alumni Association sustains the legacy of INNG veterans, fosters a community of shared interests to support all veterans and families while enriching our communities. The involvement and connection provided strengthens the bond between past and present service members while celebrating our proud service to the Indiana National Guard.

You can become a member if you honorably served in the Indiana Army National Guard or Indiana Air National Guard. If you have questions about your eligibility to join, please contact us.

Top Responses from 2026 Alumni Association Reunion Participants

1.  Almost half of respondents reported feeling more connected to the Indiana National Guard, and around 40% reported feeling about the same level of connection.

2. Most respondents said they were very or somewhat likely to recommend a fellow veteran join the Alumni Association. Nearly 70% of respondents were in the "very likely" category.

3. While around 28% felt the Alumni Association was better than other veteran organizations, almost half of respondents reported it compared about the same.

4. Some respondents reported confusion over the process of joining, not realizing that signing up for the monthly Hoosier Guard Gazette automatically added them to the membership list.

5. In response to "What did you like about the March  7, 2026 Reunion, the most popular answers were "fellowship,"  "food," and "briefing by TAG," Adjutant General, Larry Muennich.

6. Respondents overwhelmingly reported feeling that the Alumni Association does a great job with communication, specifically with timely event notices, detailed updates and memorial announcements.

7.  Several responses included suggestions about interacting or collaborating with other veterans organizations, including inviting representatives to the Alumni Association Reunion, collaborating with local chapters on home-improvement projects and other volunteer opportunities like helping catalog historical records, and live-streaming events for veterans who can't attend in-person.
