Our agency's goal is to use standard, easily recognizable signs whenever possible but on occasion a nonstandard message is needed. Traffic Administration develop designs for non-standard signs with the use of a computer program called SignCAD. All the Non standards signs developed can be viewed in INDOT’s Traffic Sign Poster.
