The Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) is a four to five year planning document that lists all projects expected to be funded in those four years with Federal funds and those state-funded projects that have been deemed as Regionally Significant. 11/16 – 11/30 | Prepare the STIP narrative (public involvement, AQC, EJ). Follow INDOT’s public involvement processes; schedule meetings with FHWA/FTA. MPOs continue TIP development. Submit project listings to FHWA/FTA. |
1/4 – 1/29 | Schedule district public meetings. |
4/1 | Post draft project listing on INDOT’s website. Open the 45‑day Public Comment Period. |
4/1 – 4/30 | Hold district public meetings (in‑person or virtual). |
5/3 – 5/27 | Respond to public comments and finalize the Draft STIP. |
