Plow Guidance Laser

This INDOT innovation helps operators maintain safer, more precise control during winter operations. The snowplow guidance laser attaches to the apron of a dump truck and projects a visible laser line ahead of the vehicle. This gives operators a clear visual reference for where the plow edge meets the roadway.
The laser can be calibrated to match any plow width and works with all styles of plows. By improving visibility and alignment, this tool supports safer plowing and helps crews clear roads more accurately during challenging winter conditions.
