This project will replace the bridge on State Road 9 over Mud Creek in Madison County. The project is located roughly three miles north of S.R. 28. The existing bridge is in poor condition and will be removed and replaced. Three existing pipes and the surrounding pavement within the project area will also be replaced. The project is expected to bid in March 2026, with a road closure planned for approximately 120 days once construction begins.
