Reserve Deputy Application

Interested in law enforcement? You may qualify to become a Reserve Deputy!

WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF RESERVE DEPUTY.

Applicant Qualifications are:

  1. High School Diploma
  2. Valid Driver's License
  3. No Felony Convictions
  4. No Domestic Violence Convictions
  5. Age 21 or above
  6. Applicants will also be required to pass a general knowledge test and physical fitness test prior to being considered for the position

Applications can be picked up at the Sheriff's Department Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm. If hired, an extensive training program will begin and upon completion, all Reserve Deputies will be required to work one 8-hour shift every 2 weeks.

You may also pick up applications for Jail Officer, 911 Dispatcher, and other civilian jobs at the Sheriff's Department.

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is taking applications for Full Time and Part Time Jail Officers. Applications can be picked up and The Sheriff’s office.  A copy of your driver’s license will be made at the Sheriff’s Office when turning in application.

Full Time Benefits:

  • $42,000 a year salary

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Applicants must have no Felony or Domestic Battery convictions, and be able to pass a drug screen.

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is taking applications for the Sheriff’s Merit List. The Merit List will be used to fill any open Merit Deputy positions at the Sheriff’s Office.

Qualifications:

* Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
* Possess a valid driver’s license

* Pass a drug-screen test
* Successfully pass each phase of the selection process including background check, written aptitude test, physical agility test and oral interviews.


Applications may be picked up, and returned, at the Sheriff’s Office Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Applications taken until position is filled.
