The Randolph County Jail was constructed in 1994. The facility has 106 beds. The Jail staff includes 20 full-time officers and maintains part-time officers to assist in staffing requirements. All full-time officers are required to complete a one-week Jail Academy accredited by the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. Commissary money for inmates can be added at any time by visiting www.expressaccount.com Money can also be added in the jail lobby using the silver kiosk in the jail lobby.

To add money to an inmate's phone account or to schedule a video visit go to www.homewav.com Money can also be left in the kiosk in the jail lobby. Inmates are allowed one onsite visit a week for free at the jail All other visits must be scheduled using the website. Visit must be scheduled 24 hours in advance but can be scheduled out 1 week. Inmates can make video phone calls when both the inmate and the approved inmate visitor are online.
The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is taking applications for Full Time and Part Time Jail Officers. Applications can be picked up and The Sheriff’s office. A copy of your driver’s license will be made at the Sheriff’s Office when turning in application.
