FLOYD COUNTY NOTICE REGARDING PUBLIC MEETING ON PROPOSED DISSOLUTION OF
FLOYD COUNTY SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT DISTRICT
The Floyd County Commissioners will conduct a public meeting concerning the proposed dissolution of the Floyd County Solid Waste Management District on the 17th day of February 2026 at 4:30 p.m., at the Pineview Government Center, 2524 Corydon Pike, Suite 104, New Albany, IN 47150.
The Plan regarding the proposed dissolution of the Floyd County Solid Waste Management District is available for inspection by the public during normal business hours, at the Floyd County Commissioners Office, located at 120 W. Spring Street, Suite 300, New Albany, IN 47150 as well as Floyd County Operations, located at 2524 Corydon Pike, Suite 202, New Albany, IN 47150. In addition, the Plan is available to view on the Floyd County Commissioners’ website.
At such public meeting, the Commissioners will receive and hear testimony and comments upon the proposed dissolution. At such meeting, or at any meeting thereafter, the Floyd County Commissioners may consider and act upon an Ordinance to dissolve the Floyd County Solid Waste Management District.

The Board of Commissioners of the County of Floyd will meet on the first and third Tuesdays at 6:00 PM local time. If a holiday falls on Tuesday, the meeting will be held on Monday before.
