The Indiana State Police does not receive payments for traffic tickets. All payments must be sent to the county in which the ticket was issued.
When you receive a ticket, you should also receive directions on how to pay or contest the fine. Most tickets have contact information on the back. Be sure to completely read all of the information and follow the directions given.
If there are no specific instructions on the ticket, or if you’ve lost the ticket, follow these directions:
- Determine what county you were in when you received the ticket.
