Circumstances:  On 09/28/1974, Eugene W. Sefton was found deceased by a family member at his home located on the Rush/Decatur County line road approximately ½ mile east of State Road 3. No forced entry was detected; however, it appears a struggle occurred inside the residence. Mr. Sefton’s vehicle, black vinyl over dark blue, 1974, Chevrolet, Chevelle was missing from the residence. This vehicle was later located abandoned in a secluded area near Ft. Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.
