First Day of Issue

The Indiana Bicentennial stamp was issued on June 7, 2016 at the Indiana Statehouse. The First Day of Issue event was open to the public. The Bicentennial stamp depicts an Indiana sunset over a cornfield on a country road, a memory every Hoosier can recall. The picture illustrated on the stamp was taken by Michael Matti, a native of Milford, Ind.
