Indiana Society of Chicago
In January, 2016, an agreement was reached to have the Bicentennial be theme of the annual Society function on December 3, 2016. Besides honoring Indiana’s birthday, student scholarships will be provided throughout the state to encourage outstanding college students at Indiana colleges and universities. Bicentennial Commission Co-Chair Becky Skillman was honored this year as the "Hoosier of the Year." Indiana Bankers Association provided Bicentennial Medallions to all in attendance. The Bicentennial Commission received a special honor as the featured Indiana activity.
