Circumstances: Russell Darling was reported missing by his adult children to the Indiana State Police Post in Sellersburg. During the course of the investigation, detectives determined that there was a high probability that Darling’s disappearance was the result of foul play. On 04/28/2008, acting on a tip, investigators discovered human remains buried under a junked car at an address on North Yukon Road in Crawford County. The remains appeared to have been burned and buried. On 06/04/2009 ISP received a Certificate of Analysis that confirmed the remains were that of Russell Darling.
