Deer Infoline
For questions about equipment, regulations, or which license you need, use our Deer Hotline by emailing INDeerInfo@dnr.IN.gov or calling 812-334-3795, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. During November, messages are monitored during evenings and weekends as well as regular business hours.
General inquiries regarding licenses or harvest reporting
For questions related to harvest reporting, your online account, license-purchasing errors, or reserved hunts, call 317-232-4200 or 877-463-6367 or email INHuntFish@dnr.IN.gov. During deer season, messages are monitored during evenings and weekends in addition to regular business hours.
General inquiries about fish and wildlife
For general inquiries related to fish and wildlife, email dfw@dnr.IN.gov or call 317-234-8440. Division staff strive to answer questions within three business days.
Permits
For questions about fish- and wildlife-related commercial licenses and permits (such as taxidermy, wildlife control, game breeders, wild animal possession, fishing guides, hunting guides, etc.), email wildlifepermits@dnr.IN.gov or call 317-232-4200. Forms and regulations can be found here.
