Circumstances: On February 10, 2003, James W. Ellis was found dead in his backyard in rural Fountain county. The cause of death was determined to be a homicide. The victim was an elderly recluse and had last been seen on December 26, 2002. James W. Ellis's body was discovered by relatives who had not heard from him in over a month.
