Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE)
This free 16-hour course, created by NHTSA, is intended to bridge the gap between the SFST and DRE programs. Students will be given an overview of the seven types of drug categories and the physiological effects these drugs have on the human body. In addition, we will cover medical conditions that can produce similar signs of impairment.

During the course, students will receive any updates in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing.  Legal issues associated with impaired driving, and pre-arrest & post-arrest procedures will also be discussed.
