David joined the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in March 2025. A graduate of ILEA Class 91‑106, he brings more than 33 years of distinguished law enforcement experience, including dedicated service with both the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and the Speedway Police Department.
Throughout his career, David has served in a wide range of roles such as Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Crash Investigator, and Traffic Officer. His background also includes substantial investigative experience through assignments in the Financial Crimes Unit, Grand Jury Unit, and Domestic Violence Unit.
David has been married since 1997 and is the proud father of four children.
