Deer Info Map

This interactive map was developed by the Division of Fish, Wildlife & Nature Preserves to provide a comprehensive view of statewide deer data. It is a compilation of publicly available information and allows users to:

  • explore the spatial extent of annual deer disease events
  • identify deer vehicle collision hotspots
  • view continuously updated deer density maps
  • examine results from prior research

Users can toggle individual layers, filter information by year or data type, and access detailed location specific summaries.
This tool is intended for hunters, biologists, land managers, and anyone interested in deer ecology to help them make informed decisions, recognize changing conditions over time, and gain a clearer understanding of deer activity in their area.

The map is updated throughout the year to ensure information remains current. As additional datasets become available, more features will be added to continue expanding the usefulness of the map.
