Role Overview:
Dual Certified in Women’s Health and Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner
If you are looking for a part-time position (up to 16 hrs/wk), join our Maternal Child Health Clinic as a dedicated Women’s Health/Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner. As our clinic Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to adults and adolescents. If you are passionate about making a positive impact on patients’ well-being, we welcome you to be a part of our team.
Salary Statement:
This is a contract position. Up to 16 hours per week.
A Day in the Life:
--Conduct patient assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
--Provide Women’s Health services for our Prenatal Clinic and our Family Planning Clinic.
--Provide services when needed for our STI Program (male and female).
--Perform physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests accurately.
--Perform prenatal care, IUD insertions, pap smears, and sports physicals.
--Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
--Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and treatment options.
--Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
--Participate in patient education programs and community outreach initiatives.
Requirements for Success:
--Current Women’s Health/Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
--Experience working in a clinic setting
--Ability to perform minor office procedures confidently and efficiently
--Able to work some evenings
