Role Overview:
Responsible for conducting on-site inspections, investigating complaints, and enforcing local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
Salary Statement:
$45,615.07
A Day in the Life:
--College degree required in environmental sciences, public health, biology, or related field. Computer skills are essential, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant programs.
--Valid Driver's License required as the incumbent utilizes a personal vehicle to travel around the county on business. Mileage is reimbursed.
Requirements for Success:
--Ability to perform minor office procedures confidently and efficiently
--Self-motivator
--Work with the public in a professional manner
--Able to work some evenings
Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:
Danny Schroeder - Senior Environmental Specialist
Work Hours:
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Evenings and weekends as needed.)
