Cybersecurity Incident Reporting
Cybersecurity is a shared responsibility that begins in our local communities. Indiana local governments and public schools are required to report any cybersecurity incident within two business days of discovery. In addition, each organization must provide the Indiana Office of Technology with the name and contact details of its designated primary reporter.
IOT has simplified both processes to make compliance easy. Use the links below to report a cybersecurity incident or to register as an incident reporter.

Vendor Engagement
To do business with the State of Indiana, vendors must adhere to the policies and enterprise standards that collectively constitute the Indiana Office of Technology's Information Security Framework (ISF). More information can be found here.
Indiana State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program Planning Committee
Known as the SLCGP Committee, was established in direct response to the federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Signed into law in 2021, this landmark legislation dedicates $1 billion over four years (2022-2025) to help state, local, and tribal governments strengthen their defenses against cybersecurity risks and threats.
The SLCGP Committee confidently leads the way by developing, approving, and implementing a strategic plan that sets funding priorities and guides cybersecurity projects across Indiana. These projects are designed to identify, assess, and address cyber risks both within and across our state and local government organizations.
