Consumer Reports
In 2003 the IDOH created its first health care facility consumer report. That report was for nursing homes. The IDOH has since added additional consumer reports for other provider types. Each consumer report provides information about health care facilities and entities. The information includes location, contact information, administrators, services provided, and survey history. Consumer reports are now available for:
- Ambulatory Surgery Centers
- End Stage Renal Disease Clinics (dialysis clinics)
- Home Health Agencies
- Hospice Agencies
- Hospitals
- Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF-IID; formerly ICF-MR; also called group homes)
- Nursing Homes (Comprehensive Care Facilities)
- Residential Care Facilities (Licensed Assisted Living Facilities)
