Programs and Resources for Providers

DDARS partners with a network of providers who play an important role in delivering support to individuals and families across Indiana. Whether you’re an existing or new partner, you’ll find some of the tools, guidance and other resources from each of our bureaus below.

Bureau of Child Development Services

BCDS supports families and caregivers by helping children learn and grow through everyday activities, fostering relationship-building with peers and adults, promoting independence and encouraging play and development.

Bureau of Disabilities Services, A Bureau of DDARS

BDS provides Medicaid Home- and Community-Based waiver services to support individuals with disabilities and brain injuries. They assist those receiving community support and offer Supervised Group Living settings for individuals seeking structured residential support.

Bureau of Rehabilitation Services

BRS helps connect deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals and their families with valuable resources. They also provide entrepreneurial opportunities for Vocational Rehabilitation participants who are legally blind and provide services to persons with disabilities through the Centers for Independent Living.

Bureau of Better Aging

BBA offers a variety of programs to support older adults and their caregivers, including home-based services and community care. Their resources help individuals access protective services, Medicaid benefits and all-inclusive care designed to meet their unique needs and promote well-being at every stage of aging.
