Competitive Integrated Employment

The Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) initiative is dedicated to expanding access to meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. By promoting inclusive workplaces where employees earn competitive wages and work alongside colleagues without disabilities, the initiative supports personal independence, community involvement and economic self-sufficiency.

Bureau of Disabilities Services

BDS provides Medicaid Home- and Community-Based waiver services to support individuals with disabilities and brain injuries. They assist those receiving community support and offer Supervised Group Living settings for individuals seeking structured residential support.

Bureau of Rehabilitation Services

BRS helps connect deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals and their families with valuable resources. They also provide entrepreneurial opportunities for Vocational Rehabilitation participants who are legally blind and provide services to persons with disabilities through the Centers for Independent Living.
