Home and Community Support Professional (HCSP) Training and Registry

The Home and Community Support Professional Training is a comprehensive minimum curriculum established under Indiana Code Section 12-11-16 that consists of general education and training in providing direct support to individuals with disabilities. The HCSP will be issued a HCSP Certificate upon successful completion of the training and be listed as credentialed in the HCSP Registry.

The HCSP Registry provides a public facing, web-based, searchable, database of the credentialled status of HCSPs to provide high quality home and community-based support. The registry allows for the verification of an HCSP’s credential status. The goal for the training program and registry is to be portable across HCBS settings and employment arrangements to ensure high quality, reliable support and services, while increasing administrative efficiency.
