CSA Application Guide

The Indiana CSA program is a statewide school choice program for students in grades 10 - 12. Students enrolled in eligible programs to pursue apprenticeships, internships, work-based learning, and credentials of value may receive up to $5,000 annually. The CSA program funds the eligible costs of postsecondary education and training, and approved associated costs. This is the first year that CSA program is administered by the Indiana Department of Education (IDOE).

The CSA Application for the 2026-27 school year will run from March 1 - October 1, 2026, with the priority access window running from March 1 - April 15. The priority access window gives enrollment priority to students who were funded in the previous school year, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Disbursements for programs that are all-inclusive will be issued directly to the CSA provider through the Indiana Office of the Comptroller. For programs that are not all-inclusive, invoices and funding will continue to be managed through the online platform, ClassWallet. Student accounts being managed through ClassWallet will receive quarterly funding on the disbursement dates listed below.

  • September 10 - Deadline to upload invoices (all-inclusive providers)

  • September 18 - First disbursement of $1,250 deposited for approved costs of eligible students.
