Welcome to Fort Harrison Inn at Fort Harrison State Park

The campus is nestled on a scenic knoll within the serene 1,700 acres of the park in Lawrence, IN. It includes the Fort Harrison Inn, The Fort Golf Resort, and The Garrison Conference Center. Lodging is available at the Inn, The Harrison House, and four Officer Homes.

The historic buildings and the adjacent area for Fort Harrison State Park were acquired by the State of Indiana in 1995 after Fort Benjamin Harrison closed.

The golf course at the Fort Golf Resort was designed by renowned golf architect Pete Dye. Golfers delight in this challenging, 18-hole championship course with its impressive natural terrain features and impeccable playing conditions.

The Garrison Conference Center offers nine rooms of various sizes for all your banquet and meeting needs.

Conveniently located just 13 miles from downtown Indianapolis, the Inn offers a relaxing change from typical city hotels. Immerse yourself in charming rooms and suites. The campus is the ideal setting for your conference, meeting, special event, business trip, and golf package or to just get away.

NOTE: The Garrison restaurant and banquet facilities at Fort Harrison State Park will close for renovations on July 1, 2024. The planned work includes renovations of public restrooms and mechanical systems, along with structural repairs to the building. The golf course, pro shop and snack shop will remain open. Fort Harrison Inn remains open as well. Please check back for updates.
