JNC District 1 Election

The term of First District attorney member Anthony Patterson is expiring. Attorneys who live in the first geographic district for the Court of Appeals are eligible to run for the Commission and vote for a new Commission member from among the qualified candidates. The election will begin on October 29; attorneys eligible to vote in the election will receive an email ballot. Voting will close at 4:00 p.m. (Eastern) on November 13, and the winner will be announced after ballots are tabulated.

Pursuant to I.C. ยง 33-27-2-8(b), the Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission/Indiana Commission on Judicial Qualifications submits to the Clerk of the Supreme Court the following biographies of the nominees for election to the First District attorney seat on the Commission, for a three-year term beginning January 1, 2025.
