About The Task Force
The Strategic Energy Growth Task Force was formed by Governor Mike Braun to address the increasing energy demands of the modern economy. The Task Force developed an energy growth plan for Indiana focused on ensuring the state can meet accelerating demand with reliable, affordable energy.
The plan provides a short-term five-year vision and a 20-year outlook centered on four key objectives: development, affordability, diversification and collaboration. It also addresses priorities including maintaining and developing energy generation, deploying nuclear energy, strengthening Indiana’s energy sector and fostering collaboration among utilities and other stakeholders.
