Who We Are

The Division of Grant Services is comprised of grants management specialists with a diverse, wide range of experience and expertise in grants management, system administration, procurement and contracting, policy analysis, and program/regulatory compliance.
Staff bring over 30+ combined years of experience in the grants administration, nonprofit management, regulatory compliance fields, giving the Division the skills and know-how to assist the LGFOB in a wide range of programs with varying regulatory landscapes.

What We Specialize In

The Division boasts an eclectic portfolio of federal and state grants from multiple funding agencies and with varying regulatory landscapes. Previously a division of the Office of Community & Rural Affairs, Grant Services specialized in the State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded by Housing & Urban Development (HUD). The Division provided technical assistance and grants management in multiple topics and cross-cutting compliance areas.
Over time, the Division's portfolio expanded to include programs for tourism development, economic development, soil conservation, specialty crop marketing and development, utility and broadband infrastructure and agricultural economic development. Today, the Division supports the LGFOB in administering nearly a dozen different grant programs and is trained in financial management and internal controls, monitoring and audit, program management and administration, labor standards, procurement, environmental review, contract management, and much more!
