The Northwest Indiana Symphony will present a special Indiana Bicentennial edition of the South Shore Summer Music festival, a six-concert series of free performances celebrating Indiana-related music, composers, singers and musicians, including Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael and Michael Jackson, along with music from movies associated with our state. Emerging artists from the Jacobs School of Music and winners of Maestro Kirk Muspratt’s 2016 Young People’s Competition will be featured.
