Legacy Projects > Geocache St. Joseph County Geocache St. Joseph County

Geocache St. Joseph County is a scavenger hunt using GPS coordinates to arrive at interesting historic and natural sites. Locals and visitors will explore the county while searching for the 15 geocache locations during Indiana’s 2016 Bicentennial year. Historic Preservation Commission and St. Joseph’s County Parks Department have partnered to offer classes on the subject and will also celebrate St. Joseph County Parks 50 Years of Outdoor Fun by featuring a cache in each of the four parks. Geocache St. Joseph County highlights special places of St. Joseph County, as well as introduces new cachers to the popular hobby.
