The Hancock County Indiana Bicentennial Celebration will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Hancock County 4-H Fairgrounds, 620 N. Apple St. Greenfield, IN, featuring: historical displays, children’s activities, information booths, entertainment, and refreshments. The event is free and open to the public from 5-9 pm. The highlight will be the culmination of the Bicentennial Torch Relay throughout the county. The relay begins at the Hancock/Madison County line at 3 pm and travels through Fortville, Mt. Comfort, New Palestine and Greenfield. It will proceed down Main Street, and will end at the Fairgrounds with the cauldron lighting at 7 pm.
