River City Art Association will present exhibits in May, July, and September with Indiana’s bicentennial theme reflected in the artwork. Each artist’s interpretation will reveal different aspects of the history and legacy of Indiana which will instill in the citizens of Terre Haute and the Wabash Valley a new-found pride in their Hoosier heritage. The May exhibit will include tours of the Terre Haute Masonic Temple which is on the National Register of Historic Places. Each exhibit also will give the community another perspective on the history of visual arts and its importance as a field of artistic expression.
