Legacy Projects > The Heart of Our Park The Heart of Our Park

When Charles Eckhart established the Eckhart Public Library in 1910, he created a legacy that would continue to play an important role in the Auburn and DeKalb County community for over a century. The library park and its fountain are an important part of that, providing an outdoor gathering spot for any and all members of our community.  As part of our bicentennial celebration we plan to disassemble and restore our beautiful fountain.
