Legacy Projects > Growing Together Growing Together

Youth involved in YMCA Summer Day Camp programs will be provided with opportunities to learn, thrive and grow. This will occur through two partnerships, the Good Seed Initiative and Double R Ranch. The youth will learn about Indiana’s Bicentennial history and prominence in agriculture by planting, caring for and harvesting a garden. At summer’s close, the produce will be harvested and enjoyed by students as they reflect on the summer learning experience. This unique event will be held in a time period log cabin located on the premises of the Good Seed Initiative.
