Legacy Projects > Hancock County Heroes Hancock County Heroes

The Hancock County Heroes project is an all volunteer effort to preserve the photos of the veterans of Hancock County Indiana who served during WWII. The photos were displayed throughout the war, and at the war’s end were removed and eventually forgotten. It is the goal of the volunteers to bring them back into the public eye.
