Legacy Projects > 9th Annual Shipshewana Ice Festival 9th Annual Shipshewana Ice Festival

Ice carvers will be drilling, shaving and sawing blocks of ice all over Shipshewana on December 27th and 28th, 2016. Carvers create beautiful sculptures based on sponsor request on the 27th. Then on the 28th the ice flies again when ice carvers create their own intricate designs during the competition carving event. Warm up with a bowl full of chili during the Chili Cook off on the 28th.
