Legacy Projects > DAR Historic Marker Trolley Tour DAR Historic Marker Trolley Tour

Our mission for this project is to commemorate Indiana’s Bicentennial by providing the citizens of the Daughters of the American Revolution a Historic Market Trolley Tour in downtown Fort Wayne. The tour will be designed to inspire interest in local history and will encourage participants to never forget the sacrifices made by those who went before us. For this very special Bicentennial event, the DAR will be teaming up with ARCH in providing the Historic Marker Trolley Tour. We are planning on having up to four trolley tours. ARCH will provide a historian to be a guide on the trolley and to share the history along the way.
