Legacy Projects > "Art from Waste" "Art from Waste"

This project kicks off a year-long initiative by reTHINK, Inc. in collaboration with Indiana State University to surface awareness on pressing environmental issues and provide support to the local community in adopting sustainable measures. “Art from Waste” invites elementary, middle, and high school students in the Vigo County School Corporation to create usable items or artwork using recycled/waste materials. reTHINK has mobilized the Vigo county Public Library towards this cause by providing support through hands-on workshops and presentations. The project commences in early February and convenes on Earth Day, with a celebration of sustainability and a better future for Indiana.
