This project will conserve the Indiana state flag, designed and fabricated by Paul Hadley, to ensure that it can be viewed by Hoosiers for years to come and travel safely across the state. The restored flag will be exhibited via a traveling exhibition organized by the Indiana Archives and Records Administration. The exhibit will visit Vincennes, Corydon, and the Indiana State House, allowing the public to view artifacts such as the state flag, state constitution, state historic rifle, territorial documents and other items from Indiana’s territorial and early statehood period. The flag will also be displayed at the Mooresville Public Library and the Greater Lafayette Museum of Art.
