In 2016, Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc. will be celebrating its 65th TriKappa Art Show, featuring local students, grades 4-12 by encouraging their expression and exploration of art. TriKappa was established in May of 1930 and its mission is Charity, Culture and Education. The annual art show has eleven classifications, examples include: painting, graphic art, pottery, sculpture, drawing, photography and more. To celebrate the state’s Bicentennial, TriKappa will add 3 new subjects, 1. If I were designing the state flag today, 2. Indiana landscape, and 3. A moment in Indiana history. The art work will be displayed at the Mooresville Public Library and professionally judged and awards presented. There will be over 1,000 entries and a reception will be held to present Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each classification.
