The General Daniel Sullivan Nature Trail is a public nature trail created and maintained by the Sullivan FFA Chapter. Local supporters as well as the National FFA Organization provided funds to construct this nature trail. The nature trail is used by community members for physical exercise and learning about natural resources. It is also used by students of the Southwest School Corporation for agriculture, historical and environmental education. The nature trail is named after General Daniel Sullivan, a hero of the American Revolution in the West. Sullivan County, Indiana is the only county in the country names after General Sullivan.
