The first Tipton County Commissioners meeting book is in need of being repaired at an estimated cost of $3,000, which will be funded through donations. This book dates back to 1844, the year our county became a county and is worthy and justified for needing restoration. Restoring this book will preserve a part of our early history, as it was happening.
