Legacy Projects > Hoosier Heritage Farms Hoosier Heritage Farms

Hoosier Heritage Farms endeavors to celebrate the agricultural heritage of Jay County families whose farms have been tended to for over 100 years. Our committee will be contacting land owners about their farms and for their participation. Once information has been gathered from each farm, we will develop a map showing the townships and historical details. This map will be on display at the Jay County Fair and other locations around the county. The map will then be donated to the Historical Society for safekeeping and for future generations.
