Legacy Projects > Re-Dedication of City Park Re-Dedication of City Park

In October 2015 the Monticello City Park will celebrate their centennial month and year. The City Park was founded as part of White County’s State Centennial celebration for 1916. In 1916 they actually had 2,500 people from the surrounding area participate in doing skits at the park. We plan to hold a similar celebration at the park.
