At winter’s end, the Parke County Maple syrup producers begin tapping the trees that provide sugar water for making maple syrup. You can taste this locally made syrup during the Maple Fair February 27-28 and March 5-6. Area vendors will be showcasing their sweet treats, art and crafts. This event highlights a product made in the State of Indiana. This event is the largest in the county for maple syrup sales and helps local producers to get others involved to keep the tradition going in Indiana.
